UK Broadband Limited (UKBroadband) is committed to the protection of the privacy of all our customers including subscribers to the now Wireless Broadband and other services (" Services ") as well as visitors to our Websites. This Privacy Policy sets out important information about our use of your Personal Data (as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998) and your rights in relation to such use.

When and how is my Personal Data processed?

Your Personal Data (including, without limitation, the information that you provide on registration for any Services, in any communications with us and any other data that you may provide to us at your election or on request) is collected and processed as follows:

  1. so as to administer and provide any Services to you (including the transfer of such Personal Data to other telecommunications network providers and/or technical partners as necessary for the provision of such Services);

  2. where requested by you, in order to send you details about goods and/or Services from us, our agents or Affiliates or selected third parties that may be of interest to you and, also where requested by you, to pass your data to selected third parties so that they can send you details about their products and services that may be of interest to you;

  3. data matching in order to build up a profile of your interests and use of any Services and including, but not limited to for the purposes under paragraphs (a) and (b) above;

  9. monitoring your use of any Services and of this Website in order to ascertain compliance with our Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use (where appropriate).

At our request, you may also be asked to provide us with information relating to you or your use of the Website or Services as reasonably required by us: (i) to assist us in complying with our obligations under any applicable law; (ii) to report to any government body regarding compliance with those obligations; and (iii) to assess whether or not you have complied, are complying and will be able to continue to comply with your contractual obligations to us.

Physical records containing Personal Data are securely stored in locked areas and/or containers when not in use. Computer data are stored on computer systems and storage media to which access is strictly controlled and which are located within restricted areas.

Access to records and data without appropriate management authorisation is strictly prohibited by us and authorisations are only granted on a 'need to know' basis that is commensurate with an individual's company responsibilities, training purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
